What We Do
The SandBox Middle School Podcast Network helps students build confidence, sharpen communication skills, and learn to express themselves in their own words—all while having fun. Let their voices be heard across the nation. A flexible curriculum is COPPA- and FERPA-compliant, AI-resistant, and designed so teachers can directly assess student understanding. Students create podcasts with SandBox resources, then teachers share them in a safe, secure environment with other member schools. Founded in 2024 by veteran teacher Henry Heidtmann and podcast executive Rich Boerner, DumpTruck Media offers every school or afterschool program a free trial of The SandBox Network including full access to the curriculum, music library, and sound effects catalog—everything needed to make podcasting exciting for both students and teachers.
